FINE TUNE YOUR POLITICAL EDUCATION ACUMENS AND WIN A BOOK
Principal of OR Tambo School, Dr David Masondo, challenged members of the ANC and broader public to enrol for OR Tambo School’s free online political education course available at https://www.ortamboschool.org.za/prerequisite-courses/. The first ten persons to complete the course and tag a friend on social media, inviting them to also complete the course, will receive a copy of Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo’s book titled My Journey to Robben Island.
“The feedback we are receiving tells us that the online course – or Prerequisite Course as we termed it – is a valuable investment worth making in oneself” explains Dr Masondo. This he said as the free online course is intended for one’s development through attainment of knowledge and skills that enhances understanding of how the world works.
The course structure comprises four modules that must be completed in the following chronological order:-
- History of South Africa and the ANC
- Building the ANC Organisation
- Government
- Economic Development
This course is a compulsory introductory level to the school’s more advanced thirteen modules.
“In short, to stand a chance of receiving one of the ten books on offer, you must complete and easy to follow two-step process” further explains Dr Masondo. “First you complete the Online Prerequisite Course. Thereafter, without disclosing your ID number, you must post your certificates of completion on social media and tag at least one friend encouraging them to do the same.”
For technical support to complete the online course Shanaaz Lamera can be contacted on 082 411 2240 or slamera@anc1912.org.za. Advice about content is available through ANC Provincial Political Education Coordinators whose details are available at www.anc1912.org.za.
